Area Parks
Nisswa City Park - Next to the Nisswa Community
Center, ice skating rink, baseball field, soccer field,
picnic tables, restroom, playground and basketball courts.
North Long Lake - On Highway 371, seven miles
south of Nisswa, swimming, boat launch and picnic area.
No lifeguard.
Merrifield Lions Park - On County Road 3 in
Merrifield, baseball diamond, sheltered picnic area,
playground and volleyball court.
Mission Park - County Road 3 to Mission Park
Drive, playground, hiking trail, picnic shelters. Several
annual events including a 4th of July parade, fall festival,
and haunted hayride.
Gregory Park - Brainerd, MN, 424 North 5th Street
Restrooms, Fountain, Stonewalls, Historic Bandstand,
Gazebo, 2 Playgrounds, Outdoor Ice Rink, 3 Lighted Tennis
Courts, 2 Unlighted Tennis Courts, 1 Basketball Court
Lum Park - On Rice Lake, approximately 1 mile
east of the East Brainerd Mall, Brainerd. This Brainerd
Lakes area park has a swimming beach, shelters, playground,
fishing dock and public beach.
North Long Lake - This Brainerd recreation area
is 7 miles northo f Brainerd on Highway 371. Swimming,
boat launch and picnic area.
Serpent Lake (Crosby, Minnesota) - This park
is just off of Main Street in Crosby, Minnesota. Camping,
swimming beach, playground, picnic area, grills, boat
launch, softball field and volleyball corut. |
