November 21: 20th Annual Taste of the Lakes Time: 05:30 PM - 10:00 PM http://www.kinshippartners.org This is Kinship Partners major fundraiser of the year. Approximately 20 of the finest restaurants and caterers in the Brainerd lakes area will provide a sampling of their culinary specialties, including appetizers, entrees and desserts. Wine and beer will also be available for tasting. A silent and live auction will round out the event. It is a bid a little, eat a little, bid a little, eat a little evening!
November 27 to December 31: Sertoma presents Winter Wonderland at the Northland Arboretum. Sertoma Presents Winter Wonderland at the Northland Arboretum! To highlight the beauty of the season and to offer a special treat for the citizens and visitors to our area, Brainerd Area Sertoma Clubs and BL Broadcasting are working with a number of businesses and organizations in town to create a major community event. We will be lighting the Northland Arboretum with over 50 professional holiday light displays that will celebrate a wonderful time of the year. A Holiday Village, where the children’s contest entries will be displayed, will be housed in the arboretum welcome center. Concessions, including hot chocolate, flavored coffee and fresh bakes chocolate chip cookies, will be offered. Children may have their photograph taken with Santa Claus as well.
November 28: Aitkin's World Famous Fish House Parade Come to Aitkin, arts & crafts, silliness, food, raffles & a Parade of Fish Houses. You've never seen this before!
November 29: Santa’s Bobbin’ Into Town Pequot Lakes Christmas Event 10:00am - 5:00pm Extended Shopping Hours and Specialty Discounts at area stores Exterior Store Decorating Contest (shoppers vote for their favorite) Coloring Contest (coloring sheets available at retail businesses) 11:00am - 2:00pm Children’s Photos with Santa and Storytelling at Silver Creek Traders Horse Drawn Wagon Rides (by Benvelle Equestrian Center) 2:00pm - 4:00pm Bonfire, Carolers, and Hot Chocolate (Lakes Latte) at the Trailside Park
